Step 2. When you start drawing the rose petals, you can begin to see how the S actually forms the base of the rose bud part or the center of the flower. Draw on some rounded petals.

Step 3. Continue to sketch on more petals, but this time the petals are larger, and slightly fuller. At this point, the rose begins to take a blooming form.

Step 4. From the right, start sketching more rose petals. There should be a smaller shaped petal, as well as a larger shaped petal, which points in the center.

Step 5. Now that the rose is all outlined, all you have to do is sketch the leaves that are in three.Sketch in the center of the sheets as such, then proceed to the next step.

step 6. Once you have cleared the rose by releasing it from mistakes, you can begin to sketch in the starting shading in the center of the rose, and then slowly, your way of working out on the first fold of the rose petal. Note how there are points of light that are not shaded into the dark.

step 7. You will continue to sketch in the shading that adds detail, definition and texture to your rose. Note the shading as well as that it is all part of the base shading process.

step 8. Continue to shade the rose petals, and all you have to do is follow the darkening the slightly shaded areas of the rose as you see here. Use the rose above as your guide.

Step 9. Shade the petals further until they are all shaded. There are lighter areas for the shading process as well as darkened areas.

Step 10. Work on getting the base shading done on the sheets, and when you're done, you can move on to the next step.

Step 11. You will begin to add your light source to the rose. To do this, simply erase the spots and until you reach the lighter areas as you can see done here in the rose.

Step 12. Smooth the shading process and when you finish your drawing should look similar to the pink you see here. I hope you enjoyed this lesson how to draw a rose.

How your brain learns to draw?

How your brain learns to draw? Our brain is the most intriguing organ of our body. It performs tasks conscious, semi conscious and even unconsciously. Although today no longer stare stiffly the functions of the left and right sides of the brain, but it's good to know which side prevails in certain functions. Looks like dealing with numbers, develop racicínios clearly, identification signs and symbols have predominant action on the left (though not exclusive). But the facial recognition, musical skills, creativity, inspiration, intuition are remarkably developed by the right brain. So the analytical, rational people with mathematical talent, who learned to read at an early age may not develop artistic skills like drawing and painting? Calm, fortunately nothing is final, although for some it is a natural ability, others can come to develop their cerebral hemispheres walking like half-forgotten. But if you are a person very "mathematics", works with sign...

Introduction to watercolor

all knowledge essential to the painting of a fine watercolor can be obtained from blogs, many blogs; teachers, many teachers; and subscription to the truth of  the pragmatic theory that doing is part of the knowing. There is no one volume purporting to present all, or even a resume of all the contributing factors inherent in a watercolor. Most blogs give superficial information on such subjects as wash techniques and the use of tools; they make no pretense of helping the artist to understand himself, the creative act, design principles, or recent findings in the study of aesthetics. They do not supply definitions of artists' and critics' vernacular—so important to the student in shaping his thinking. This blog has those additional objectives. It is conceived as a working tool to be kept in studio and sketchbox. It is to be glanced at frequently to keep the mind from digressions, and to keep the artist concerned with significant word sequences. It is a reference blog. Throug...
