Marvel Completes the Set With 'Drax' Spinoff From 'Guardians' Comic Book

Drax Marvel Comics  New series will join already announced 'Star-Lord,' 'Rocket Raccoon,' 'Groot' and 'Gamora' comic book series. At this weekend's C2E2 comic book convention in Chicago, Marvel Entertainment announced the upcoming launch of Drax, a solo comic book starring the interstellar bright green bruiser from Guardians of the Galaxy, to be co-written by former professional wrestler CM Punk. Details on the series, which will launch this winter following the conclusion of the company's much-hyped Secret Wars crossover event, were mostly missing from the announcement; the identities of Punk's co-writer, as well as the artist of the series, were both left a mystery, although the first issue will feature a cover by one-time Hulk and Superman artist Ed McGuinness. According to Marvel, the series will follow the character from "the intergalactic octagon to the far reaches of outer space." The announcement means that Marvel will h
