Method 2 of 2: Draw Using Perspective

  1. Draw a Female Body Step 8.jpg
    1
Perspective is the appearance of a smaller three-dimensional object than its actual size depending on the observer's position. For example, the image shows how a cylinder viewed from the side, and as he looks smaller when one end is facing the viewer in order to be able to see only the annular edge.
  2. Draw a Female Body Step 9.jpg
    2
Sketch the structure of the human figure. Note that the right arm and the top of the left leg look smaller because they are pointed at the viewer.
  3. Draw a Female Body Step 10.jpg
    3
Outline body shapes to the volume of the figure. The same principle applies to the ratio of the arm and leg, as cylinders were used to compose them.
  4. Draw a Female Body Step 11.jpg
    4
Outline the details of the human figure using body shapes as a guide.
  5. Draw a Female Body Step 12.jpg
    5
Draw the outlines of the sketch to finish.
  6. Draw a Female Body Step 13.jpg
    6
Delete and remove the sketch marks.
  7. Draw a Female Body Step 14.jpg
    7
    Add the basic color.
  8. Draw a Female Body Step 15.jpg
    8
    Add shading if necessary.

Tips

  • The more you practice, the better!
  • Enclose the advance of spaces and make sure that all proportions are correct before leaving for the details. You will not like to have invested great effort in detailing the eyes to later realize that one of them is higher than the other.
  • To verify that the proportions are correct, look at the image upside down. This is great tip for those seeking precision.
  • Compare with other body portions. A finger or a pencil can help as markers. Just look a little away for the image, with one eye closed, to determine whether it is spaced properly.
  • When drawing a female body remember that women have lower than men's shoulders. It is a common mistake to draw women with very broad shoulders, as well as other small shoulders. Note the proportions while drawing to ensure you are keeping the anatomy in balance.
  • Look in the mirror the pose you are drawing. Always look for members out of proportion in relation to other parts of the body.
